1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using The Chakra mobile application or web portal ("Platform"), you agree to abide by and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Platform Marketplace Role
The Chakra operates as an open digital automotive marketplace and discovery platform connecting buyers, private vehicle sellers, and independent automotive dealerships across India. The Chakra is an advertising and discovery medium; The Chakra does NOT inspect, test, certify, warrant, or verify any car, mechanical condition, or dealership. Physical vehicle inspections, title checks, price negotiations, and monetary transactions are conducted directly and independently between buyers and sellers.
3. User Account & OTP Authentication
Users must provide an authentic 10-digit Indian mobile number. Authentication is completed via One-Time Passwords (OTP). Users are strictly responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activities performed under their registered credentials.
4. Dealership & Partner Code of Conduct
Dealerships registered with The Chakra warrant that all listed cars feature truthful specifications, authentic photographs, clear legal title, and transparent pricing. Any fraudulent listings or misrepresentation may lead to immediate revocation of showroom privileges.
5. Vehicle Services & Third-Party Estimations
Value-added services including Car Valuation, EMI Calculators, Vehicle Verification, and Challan Checks are provided for reference. Final loan terms, interest rates, and insurance approvals are determined exclusively by our partner financial institutions.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law, The Chakra and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from off-platform vehicle inspections, roadworthiness disputes, or private monetary transactions.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
